pair-of-vintage-louis-xv-style-gilt-54077
Pair of Vintage Louis XV Style Gilt Bronze Single-Arm Wall Sconces with Glass Drops, Rocaille Scroll Arm, Leaf Bobeche, Candle Light

A single arm swings out from each slender backplate in a bold rocaille C-scroll, curling at its tip and rising into a cup of crisp, upturned acanthus leaves that holds an ivory candle sleeve. Glass drops hang all around: a large scalloped drop shaped like a leaf from a hook above the backplate, a rosette and drop from the end of the arm, and a clear teardrop beneath. Every one of them catches the light and throws small sparkles across the wall. The slim backplates are cast with flowing scrolls and leaves, and the gilding is bright and warm. Compact and narrow, they’re ideal beside a bathroom mirror, either side of a bed or along a staircase.

Condition: Good Vintage Condition, with a bright gilt finish and light wear consistent with age.

Dimensions & Materials (each sconce)

Height: 10.2 in (26 cm)
Width: 2.8 in (7 cm)
Depth: 5.1 in (13 cm)
Weight: 1.2 lb (560 g)
Material: Gilt bronze, glass drops
Bulb base: E12 candelabra
Includes: Two single-arm wall sconces with glass drops and candle sleeves

Lampshade: Sold without shades, leaving you free to choose ones that suit your room.

Historical Period: Louis XV revival style; circa mid-20th century.

Electrical: Carefully prepared and professionally rewired by our workshop before dispatch; tested and delivered ready to install.

Shipping & Duties: Every piece is hand-wrapped, securely packed and fully insured for its journey to you, wherever you are in the world.
