Look at the surface where the frosting thins — over the knee, along the raised arm — and the blue deepens from powder to sapphire as the glass thickens: pressed satin glass carries its colour in its body, and the shifting depth is the mark of the real 1930s material. The figure carries a small chip to the back, stated plainly and photographed.
