The pointed arches and tracery come from medieval cathedral windows, and nineteenth-century designers revived them for everything from churches to desk accessories.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe inkwell is in good vintage condition, with light wear to the gilt finish. It keeps its glass stopper.
