The column tapers to a leafy drop at its base. From its middle, two arms sweep out in acanthus-wrapped S-curves to wide, fluted flower-shaped drip pans and candle sleeves. Draped beneath the arms, a swag of tassels and bellflowers loops down and hangs in long drops at each side. It’s a playful, decorative Louis XVI design. The gilding is bright and warm, with a soft aged sheen in the recesses. At over 2.5 pounds each, they’re solid and well made, perfect either side of a bed, a mirror or a doorway.

Condition: Good Vintage Condition, with a warm patina.

Dimensions & Materials (each sconce)

Weight: 2.8 lb (1.28 kg)
Material: Gilt bronze
Bulb base: 2 x E12 candelabra per sconce
Includes: Two double-arm wall sconces with four card candle sleeves

Lampshade: Sold without shades, leaving you free to choose ones that suit your room.

Historical Period: Louis XVI revival style; circa 1950s–1960s.

Electrical: Carefully prepared and professionally rewired by our workshop before dispatch; tested and delivered ready to install.

Shipping & Duties: Every piece is hand-wrapped, securely packed and fully insured for its journey to you, wherever you are in the world.
