pair-of-vintage-wood-and-brass-torch-wall-17893
Pair of Vintage Wood and Brass Torch Wall Sconces with Frosted Glass Flame Shades, Turned Wood Body, Shell Wall Plate

Each of these sconces is shaped like a classic flaming torch. A turned wooden handle, warm honey-brown and polished smooth, swells into a ringed collar and tapers below to a small brass leaf finial. At the top, a ruffled glass shade is moulded and frosted in the shape of rising flames, held in a brass gallery edged with leaves. When lit, the glass glows soft white, like a real torch burning on the wall. Each torch is mounted on a fluted brass shell plate. The mix of wood, brass and glass feels warm and traditional, well suited to a hallway, a stairwell, a library or a chalet-style living room.

Condition: Good Vintage Condition, used, with light wear to the wood and brass consistent with age.

Dimensions & Materials (each sconce)

Material: Turned wood, brass mounts and wall plate, frosted moulded glass shade
Bulb base: E12 candelabra
Includes: Two wall sconces with glass flame shades

Lamp Shade Included: Frosted moulded glass flame shade, on each sconce.

Historical Period: Traditional torch (flambeau) style; circa late 20th century.

Electrical: Carefully prepared and professionally rewired by our workshop before dispatch; tested and delivered ready to install.

Shipping & Duties: Every piece is hand-wrapped, securely packed and fully insured for its journey to you, wherever you are in the world.
