Urns draped with cloth became fashionable in the 1760s and 1770s, after the digs at Pompeii and Herculaneum showed Europe the decoration of ancient Rome. One sconce has a small hole, shown in the photos, which doesn't affect its strength. They reach us unwired, and we electrify them in our workshop before dispatch.
