Large Art Deco Panther sculpture Designed and signed by Guy Debe France 1930s

Art Deco animal bronze sculpture panther by Guy Debe on black oval marble base. Art Deco sculpture representing a Panther during a hunting moment. This sculpture is made by Art Deco sculptor Guy Debe, an artist active during the early 20th century period in France. Great to be set on a table, on a desk inside a bookcase this piece is a very decorative and elegant one. The pose of the panther is very vigorous and transmits a sense of strength but sinuosity at the same time. The material of the body of the panther is a blend of metals called regul based on bronze and the base is an oval black marble. The sculpture is in excellent conditions and no restoration is needed. It comes with its original patina, the marble and the bronze shows some wears but no structural damages, which are totally coherent with age and prior gentle use. A video is available upon request.
