I am Kiet Jaspers, founder of Maison Jaspers in Groningen, the Netherlands. I choose every piece in the collection personally, with an eye for the materials, proportions and details that give an object its character.
A name or a period can help tell its story, but the piece itself comes first: how it has been made, how it has aged and how it might live in a room today.
The collection brings together antique and vintage lighting, art and decorative objects. Each has its own history. I value the marks of age that belong to that history, while making repairs, alterations and imperfections clear.
Maison Jaspers has also been welcoming collectors through Etsy since 2022. Whether you are choosing a first piece or working on an interior, you are welcome to ask for a closer look, more measurements or advice about the practical details.
