This lamp base shows that same construction: a tall hand-blown body in amber glass, tapering from a slender neck down to a full shoulder, drawing in above a ribbed knop before flaring into a fluted, scalloped foot, with flecks of gold-toned material caught throughout the glass. Because the metal sits within the glass rather than on top of it, the shimmer moves through the body of the piece as the light changes, rather than sitting flat on a single surface.

Condition is sound, with no losses noted in the photographs provided. The piece has clearly been well kept, and now moves forward to a new setting rather than a workshop. It would suit a console table, a bedside pairing, or either end of a mantel, where the warm amber tone can be appreciated at eye level.
