The twin-arm table lamp offered a simple solution to a common problem: how to light a wider surface without resorting to a floor lamp or overhead fixture. By curving a single U-shaped arm up from a central base to two symmetrical sockets, the form spreads its light across a desk or console while keeping a low, compact footprint, a practical geometry that suited the clean lines favored through the Art Deco period particularly well.

This lamp is worked in bronze, its two sockets rising from the ends of a smooth U-shaped arm that curves down to meet a stepped, cylindrical circular base. Note how the design relies entirely on the pure curve of the arm and the plain, stacked geometry of the base for its effect, with no applied ornament anywhere on the piece — a restrained, architectural approach typical of Art Deco lighting design, where form itself carried the decoration rather than surface detail. The lamp is shown fitted with two matching pleated white fabric shades.

The piece reaches us in very good vintage condition. As a lamp, it has been fully rewired and is ready for use. Placed on a console or sideboard, its wide double-shade spread makes it a genuinely useful source of ambient light rather than a single-point reading lamp.
