Large Louis XVI Style Bouillotte Lamp, Burgundy Metal Shade, Bronze-Toned Base, 90 cm
A substantial Louis XVI-style bouillotte lamp with a rich burgundy lacquered metal shade, a tall column and a square stepped base. The dark bronze-toned finish has worn highlights, while a wreath-form ring finial and arrow-shaped shade adjustment add classical detail.
The three upright white candle sleeves are decorative. The two electrical bulbs sit horizontally inside the shade, as the close-up photographs show.
