This is a pair of two-light wall sconces in gilt metal, each with a pair of acanthus-scrolled arms sweeping outward from a central fluted torch motif bound in stylised laurel — a Louis XVI device drawn from classical fasces and quiver imagery. The candle cups carry faux drip-wax sleeves in the period manner, concealing the electric fitting beneath.
