Pair of Vintage Empire Style Brass Wall Sconces with Feather Plume Backplates, Single Candle Lights for Living Room, Bedroom or Hallway
A tall, sweeping plume of feathers forms the back of each sconce, rising like a wing behind a slender torch-shaped candle holder. A knotted ribbon wraps the stem, and a fluted, flower-like cup holds a drip-effect candle sleeve, bringing a sense of theatre to an otherwise simple form. The antiqued finish deepens in the recesses, so every feather catches the light differently. Mounted above a fireplace or framing a mirror, the pair makes a striking, romantic statement.
Condition: Very Good Vintage Condition, with a natural patina and a few small signs of age typical of vintage pieces.
