Table Lamp with Faceted Glass Balls, Frosted Glass Cone Shade, Gold-Tone Beaded Base and White Dome, Mid-Century Style

Three glass balls, stacked like drops of water, catch the light before it ever reaches the shade. Above them, a tall frosted cone glows softly, and below, a white dome sits in a ring of gold. It is a small lamp with a jeweller's eye for detail.

The stem is built from three faceted clear glass balls, each separated by gold-tone metal collars, rising from a white dome set in a gold-tone base with a beaded edge. At the top, a gold-tone cup holds a tall, conical shade of frosted white glass with fine horizontal ribbing. Faceting cuts flat planes into the glass, so each ball acts like a small prism, breaking the light into bright points.

The lamp is in very good vintage condition, and our workshop fully rewires it before it leaves. It travels with its own frosted shade, so it arrives ready to glow. On a bedside table, a dressing table or a narrow shelf, it gives a soft, warm light and a touch of sparkle.
