Vintage Art Deco Brass Table Lamp with Ram’s Head Column and Frosted Green Glass Globe Shade, Gilt Bands, Neoclassical Style
Four ram’s heads look out from the top of the fluted column, linked by small swags of garland. It’s a neoclassical touch carried into the Art Deco years. Below, the column tapers down to a round foot cast with acanthus leaves. Above, a spherical glass globe in the palest green sits on a brass collar. Its frosted, granular bands alternate with clear rings edged in fine gilt lines, so when it’s lit the globe glows in soft stripes. Standing just over 17 inches, the lamp gives a warm, theatrical light to a desk, a side table or a bedside.
