Vintage Art Deco Style Silver-Tone Champagne Bucket with Disc Handles
A tall, gleaming cylinder with two round disc handles, ready for a bottle and a scoop of ice: this champagne bucket brings Art Deco polish to a bar cart, a dinner table or a celebration.
The bucket is a plain straight-sided cylinder in silver-tone metal, with a slightly rolled rim and a stepped band at the base. Its only decoration is a pair of flat, round disc handles mounted on short stems at either side, a crisp geometric touch typical of the Art Deco years. A good champagne bucket is filled with both ice and water, not ice alone. Water touches the whole bottle, so it chills far faster and more evenly, which is why buckets like this are made deep enough to reach the shoulder.
The bucket is in good vintage condition, with a bright shine, some scratches and light marks from use on the outside, and darker tarnish inside. It's ready for many more toasts. Use it for champagne or white wine, or as a planter or a vase for tall stems.
