Vintage Clear Cut Crystal Vase with Beaded Scalloped Rim, Crosscut Geometric Trumpet Shape and Faceted Base, 19.5 cm

Thick clear glass cut with deep facets catches the daylight and throws small flashes across the table. Its wide mouth gives cut flowers room to spread out loosely.

The vase is heavy clear glass with cut decoration, in an unusual wide, open shape that is almost as broad at the top as it is tall. Glass like this is decorated by holding it against a spinning wheel, which grinds facets and grooves into the thick walls. Each cut face then reflects and bends the light.

The vase is in good vintage condition, with light scratches under the base from normal use. It has had a long life on other tables, and it's ready for yours. Fill it with garden roses or tulips, or use it empty on a sideboard or dining table.

Overview: a clear cut glass vase in an Art Deco style, with a wide flared mouth.
