Vintage Etched Glass Decanter with Embossed Silver-Tone Collar and Clear Ball Stopper
Frosted leaves and flowers spread over a wide, rounded glass body, topped by a band of embossed metal and a clear glass ball. With light behind it, the frosted pattern shows up white against the clear glass.
The decanter has a broad, low, rounded body in clear glass, engraved with frosted leaves, flowers and scrolls. The neck is wrapped in a silver-tone metal collar, embossed with flowers and leaves and edged with a twisted rim. A clear glass ball stopper sits on top. Embossing means pressing a pattern into thin metal from behind, so the design stands up in relief on the front.
The decanter is in very good vintage condition. It has been well kept, and it's ready to be used and enjoyed again. Use it for wine, spirits or water on a bar cart, a sideboard or a dining table.
