Vintage Hand-Carved Dark Wood Hunter Figure with Spear and Quiver of ArrowsStanding Warrior Statue, Folk Art Sculpture

He stands calm and upright, with a spear resting against his shoulder, a quiver of arrows slung across his back and a short blade held in his lowered hand, ready to set out on the hunt. Carved from a single piece of dark wood, the figure shows careful observation: a neatly shaped beard, a high forehead with swept-back hair, a strap running across the chest, a wrapped loincloth and long, bare feet planted on a simple plinth. The surface has a deep, almost black patina, polished smooth by handling. A natural drying crack runs down the torso, the kind that forms as wood settles over the years, giving the piece an honest, lived-in character. It’s a striking figure for a bookshelf, a study or a collection of carved wood sculpture.

Condition: Good Vintage Condition. There is a natural drying crack running down the front of the torso, as pictured. The figure is stable and stands firmly.
