Vintage Liqueur Set, Cut Glass Decanter with Silver-Tone Neck and Stopper, Six Fluted Silver-Tone Beakers
A small cut glass decanter stands among six little fluted cups, ready for a drink after dinner. The set sits neatly on a tray and brings a sense of occasion to the end of a meal.
The decanter is clear glass cut with a criss-cross diamond pattern. It has a tall silver-tone metal neck and a round stopper, both finished with a moulded leaf band. The six small beakers are silver-tone metal with vertical fluting. Liqueurs and digestifs are strong and sweet, so they were served in small measures after a meal. That's why liqueur sets come with such small cups.
The set is in good vintage condition, with no cracks or chips, and some wear to the silver-tone plating. It's ready for another round of dinners in a new home. It suits a bar cart, a sideboard or a drinks tray.
