This one carries that presence beautifully: a fluted brass column rising from a stepped, footed base, capped with a fine collar just below the shade. It is the kind of lamp that suits a study, a formal living room, or either side of a mantel, lending a room the same

There is a quiet formality to a column lamp that few other forms can match — a shape borrowed directly from architecture, brought down to human scale and set on a table where it can preside over a room rather than simply occupy it. This one carries that presence beautifully: a fluted brass column rising from a stepped, footed base, capped with a fine collar just below the shade. It is the kind of lamp that suits a study, a formal living room, or either side of a mantel, lending a room the same sense of grounded elegance a real column brings to a hallway.
The lamp is formed as a Corinthian-style fluted brass column in a warm, aged tone, rising from a square stepped base set on small brass ball feet. A turned brass ring collar sits partway up the column, and the fitting below the shade is finished with a decorative brass bead. The brass shows a soft, deepened patina consistent with age. It comes fitted with a new, freshly made pleated fabric shade.
This is offered as a single table lamp.
