There is a wonderful tactility to a twisted brass column — the eye follows the spiral upward the way it might follow a barley-twist chair leg, and the hand wants to trace it before the mind even registers why. This lamp has exactly that pull. Its rope-twisted shaft rises from a substantial hexagonal base, each panel embossed with scrolling foliate detail, the kind of ornament that rewards a closer look rather than announcing itself from across the room. Set on a side table or writing desk, it brings a quiet, tactile richness to a room, the sort of piece that looks better the longer you live with it.
The lamp is formed as a spiral-twisted brass column rising from a stepped hexagonal base, each facet of the base embossed with a scrolling foliate motif within a raised panel border. The brass carries a deep, variegated patina — warm gold tones mixed with darker passages and hints of verdigris in the recesses, consistent with age and untouched surface. It comes fitted with a new shade.
This is offered as a single table lamp.
