There's something almost bridal about this lamp, the way the ruffled frosted shade opens like a flower in full bloom above a stem of faceted crystal beads that catch and scatter light with every turn. It has the presence of a piece that once stood on a lady's dressing table or beside a chaise longue, softening a room the way only antique glass can, warm, textured, a little romantic. Pieces built this way, layering cut glass, bronze, and hand-finished detailing, tend to become the ones a collector remembers finding, the lamp that quietly outshines everything else on the shelf around it.
The lamp rises from a scalloped bronze foot through a column of faceted crystal beads, each one catching light differently as it turns, before meeting a bronze collar that supports the frosted glass shade above. The shade itself is finely ruffled at the rim, with a raised beaded and floral pattern pressed into the glass, giving it a soft, almost lace-like texture. The bronze shows a warm, aged patina consistent with genuine age, while the piece has been fitted with a new electrical cord for safe, reliable use.
Each item is carefully and professionally packed and fully insured for worldwide shipping.
