Art Deco Brass Torch SconcesFist-Holding Design, 1930s Solid Brass Wall Lights, Rare Statement Lighting, Pair
Delivered free · US duties paid · Insured
There's a reason the torch became one of the defining motifs of Art Deco design — it was a symbol of progress, of light pushing forward into a new century, cast in bold geometric form. This pair takes that symbolism literally, each sconce sculpted as a clenched fist gripping a torch, the flame itself becoming the light source on the wall.

Cast in solid brass, the fist-and-torch form is rare even among Art Deco lighting, a design that leans into drama rather than restraint. Each sconce carries the crisp, confident lines that defined the era, ready to anchor a hallway, entryway, or living room with real presence rather than quiet accent. Compatible with modern wiring, so the piece is as functional today as it was striking in the 1930s.
The sconces present in very good vintage condition, their brass surfaces carrying the kind of aged richness that only genuine age produces. This is a pair built to be the focal point of a room, not a supporting detail in it.
