Description

The horse's head has long been a favorite subject for sculptural lamp bases, prized for the way its arched neck and defined musculature translate naturally into a vertical, upright form — exactly the shape a lamp base needs, dressed as a small equestrian sculpture rather than a plain column.

This horse head lamp base follows that tradition closely: a brass-toned metal horse's head, mane carved in defined, overlapping locks, rises from an oval plinth to meet a slender fluted stem above. Note how the mane is worked in individually raised strands rather than a single textured mass — the kind of detailing that separates a genuinely sculpted casting from a simplified, smooth-surfaced imitation. As a sculptural lamp base, it carries real presence even before a shade is added, making it a natural centerpiece for equestrian decor in any room.

This brass table lamp suits a desk, console, or bedside table equally well, and works especially nicely as a horse lover gift for anyone drawn to classic style lamp forms. The lamp is sold as the sculptural base alone, without a shade, so you may pair it with one to suit your own space. The metal throughout carries a bright, polished gold tone, with the sculptural detailing of the mane and face fully intact.

It arrives professionally packed and fully insured — we handle the paperwork and worldwide shipping, with your choice of plug fitted to your country at no extra charge. Returns are accepted within 30 days.
