Novelty-form lighting like this piece plays with silhouette first and function second, the black lacquered tapered body shape mounted on a swivel joint atop a oval brass wall plate, a soft, cloud-like white glass shade attached at the wide end. That kind of sculptural, single-gesture design belongs to a strand of French decorative lighting that treats the lamp itself as a small piece of tabletop or wall sculpture, the light almost secondary to the shape. It would suit a study, hallway, or any room already leaning into a distinctive, design-forward aesthetic.
The piece has a tapering black lacquered tapered body form, banded in brass at both the narrow tip and the wider end, mounted on a brass swivel joint that allows the horn to pivot. It is fitted to a oval brass wall plate, with a bulbous, cloud-shaped white opaline glass shade attached at the wide end of the horn.
This is offered as a single fixture.
