Hand-Painted Kashmiri Wood Lamp Base1910s, Vintage Floral Bohemian Accent, Antique Bedside Table Lamp
Delivered free · US duties paid · Insured
In Kashmir, wood carving and hand-painting have long gone together — a household object wasn't finished until it carried color, pattern, and a maker's patience worked into its surface. This slender lamp base comes from that tradition, its dark wood turned on a lathe and then covered, inch by inch, in hand-painted florals that still hold their color more than a century later.

The base rises in a tiered, slender column to a rounded foot, densely decorated in reds, oranges, yellows, and greens against a dark ground — the kind of layered, artisanal pattern that rewards a closer look. Sold as a base only, with no shade included, so it's ready to pair with whatever style suits your space.
The lamp presents in good vintage condition, with the kind of gentle wear that comes from being genuinely used and loved for over a hundred years. The hand-painted colors remain vivid against the aged wood.
Every item is packed individually and arrives professionally packed, fully insured — we handle the paperwork and worldwide shipping.
