Pair of Brass and Wood Table Lamps with Pleated Floral Shades1970s
Delivered free · US duties paid · Insured
Pairing brass with wood in a lamp column is a straightforward design decision with a clear payoff: brass alone can read as cold or overly formal, and wood alone can look plain, but set together they trade off each other's weaknesses. This pair keeps that balance simple — a stepped brass base and collar bracketing a warm wooden center column, with nothing else competing for attention on the stem itself.
Worldwide shipping and US import duties included.

The shades carry the more elaborate detail: pleated fabric in a deep burgundy red, printed with a cream botanical pattern, finished with a scalloped lower edge rather than a plain hem. The pleating does real work when lit, since each fold catches and releases light slightly differently, giving the shade a texture it wouldn't have flat.
Both lamps show even, undamaged brass and a smooth wood finish on the columns, with the pleated shades intact and unfaded. Sold as a genuine matching pair, they suit flanking a console, bracketing a sideboard, or sitting symmetrically on either side of a bed.
