Revival styles work by taking a handful of period signatures and reassembling them without claiming to be the original — this pair does exactly that with Empire-era vocabulary: fluted arms and urn-shaped motifs, the same architectural details that decorated genuine early-nineteenth-century French lighting, reapplied here on a mid-twentieth-century frame.
Each sconce extends a single fluted arm from a circular backplate, with a small urn-form element marking the transition between plate and arm — a detail that gives the piece a sense of structure rather than a plain curved bracket. The fitting at the end suits either a candle-style bulb sleeve or a shade of your own choosing, since none is included here.
