Pair of Gilt Bronze Wall SconcesTwo-Arm Ribbed Rim Sconces, French Style
Delivered free · US duties paid · Insured
There is a spare, confident elegance to a sconce built with only two straight, gently swept arms and no unnecessary flourish — every line here does exactly what it needs to and nothing more, from the ribbed circular backplate to the beaded drip pans and small pineapple-form finials beneath each candle cup. Sconces of this restrained, architectural character were designed to work in pairs on either side of a mirror or doorway, letting the quality of the casting speak for itself rather than

There is a spare, confident elegance to a sconce built with only two straight, gently swept arms and no unnecessary flourish — every line here does exactly what it needs to and nothing more, from the ribbed circular backplate to the beaded drip pans and small pineapple-form finials beneath each candle cup. Sconces of this restrained, architectural character were designed to work in pairs on either side of a mirror or doorway, letting the quality of the casting speak for itself rather than relying on elaborate scrollwork. It carries the character of a well-proportioned formal room, the kind of lighting that suits both a traditional interior and a more pared-back, contemporary setting furnished with antiques.
Each sconce has two straight, gently curved arms extending from a ribbed circular backplate, each arm terminating in a beaded drip pan, candle socket, and small pineapple-form finial beneath. The gilt bronze has a warm, even tone throughout, and both sconces in the pair share the same form and finish.
This is offered as a matched pair of wall sconces. Before dispatch, our workshop will inspect and test the electrical system, with rewiring where needed. Delivered working and ready to use.
