Pair of Vintage 1950s Venetian Style Gilt Metal Wall Sconces, Two-Arm Feather Leaf and Tassel Design, Hollywood Regency Candle Lights
Three long, feathery leaves sweep upward from a gathered flower cup on each sconce, their tips curling over like ostrich plumes, while a fluted tassel hangs neatly below. Two slender arms arc out to petal-shaped drip pans and cream candle sleeves. Made in the 1950s in the playful Venetian taste, the pair has the lightness and glamour of a mid-century Italian interior, and looks just as lovely in a bedroom as in a sunny living room.
Condition: Good Vintage Condition, with a soft, time-worn gilt patina. The candle holders are slightly loose and will be tightened during rewiring.
