Pair of Vintage Louis XVI Style Bronze Two-Arm Candle Wall Sconces, Neoclassical Urn and Fluted Pilaster Design, Hallway Decor
A two-handled urn with a flame finial sits on top of each sconce, above a long, tapering pilaster carved with fluting and hanging bellflowers that ends in a cluster of fruit. Two scrolled arms curl out from beneath the urn to hold candle cups on wide drip pans, ready for slim tapers. Touches of green patina in the recesses add to their sense of age, and together the pair brings the calm order of Neoclassical design to a hallway or the wall beside a fireplace.
Condition: Good Vintage Condition, with an aged bronze patina and small areas of green verdigris in the recesses.
