Rococo Style Gilt Two-Arm Wall Sconce with Pineapple Motif and Scrolled Arms, Vintage
A vintage two-arm wall sconce in gilt metal, in a richly decorated Rococo revival style. The cast backplate rises to a fruit-basket finial between scrolled brackets, with a pineapple motif at its centre. Two curved arms with pierced scroll supports each end in a flower-shaped drip pan and a cup cast with matching pineapple relief.
It is in very good vintage condition with its original gilding, and suits a hallway, a bedroom or any spot that suits a compact sconce.
