Set of Three Vintage Louis XVI Style Bronze Wall Sconces, Urn Torch Backplate, One Double-Arm and Two Single-Arm, Candle Lights
Each of these sconces is a classical torch: a tapering shaft cast with fluted panels and hanging leaf garlands, with a pointed drop at the base. It rises to a ribbed collar and an urn with scrolled handles, crowned by a small flame finial. The centre sconce sends out two scrolling arms with leafy elbows to round drip pans and beaded candle cups. The two smaller companions each have a single arm, mirrored so they reach in opposite directions. Ivory candle sleeves complete the candlelit look, and the bronze has a soft, mellow gold patina. The set is ideal for a hallway or staircase: the double in the centre and the singles either side, or the two singles framing a mirror or a door.
Condition: Good Vintage Condition.
