Vintage Art Nouveau Style Brass Table Lamp with Embossed Brass Shade and Coloured Glass Cabochons, Oil Lamp Form Desk or Bedside
Shaped like a 19th-century oil lamp, this brass table lamp is crowned by a domed metal shade embossed with sweeping leaves and stylised sunbursts, and set with jewel-like cabochons of coloured glass that glint as you walk past. Below, an urn-shaped body cast with acanthus rises from a pierced, scrolling foot. Found untouched in an attic, it has the warm, honest patina of a piece that has waited patiently for a new home, ideal for a library desk or a cosy reading corner.
Condition: Good Vintage Condition, in original attic-found state, with natural patina and light age wear to the brass.
