Vintage Brass and Chrome Table LampOpen-Frame Tower Base, in the Style of Willy Rizzo, 1980s
Delivered free · US duties paid · Insured
Rather than a solid column, this lamp is built as an open frame — two vertical panels twisting upward from a square base to meet at the socket, leaving negative space between them so light and reflection do the work an applied ornament normally would. It's a construction logic that defined a certain strain of Hollywood Regency lighting through the late 1970s and 80s, valuing sculptural structure over decoration.

Brass and chrome-toned metal panels alternate along the twisted, square-profile tower, meeting at an angled brass connector before opening into a solid square brass base. The design sits squarely in the style of Willy Rizzo's sculptural, mixed-metal lighting from the era — bold geometry, dual-tone finishes, architectural presence. An inline switch on the cord keeps operation simple, and no shade is included, leaving the finished look open to the buyer.
The lamp presents in good vintage condition, with the dual-tone brass and chrome finish holding up well and the architectural frame free of damage.
The lamp will be inspected and tested before dispatch, with rewiring where needed, with the plug fitted to match your country's standard, free of charge. It's packed individually and shipped fully insured. Returns are accepted within 30 days.
