Vintage Brass and White Onyx Column Table Lamp, Square Brass Base

A stone column set between brass fittings does two things for a table lamp: it breaks up an otherwise plain metal shaft, and it gives the piece real weight and cool contrast against the warm brass. This vintage table lamp uses exactly that combination, with a white onyx-toned column at its center.

The column rises from a square brass base with a scrolled, engraved pattern across its face and small brass feet at each corner, up through a turned brass collar into the white stone shaft, then continues through a matching brass collar to the socket at the top. The brass throughout carries a warm, consistent tone rather than a mixed or mismatched finish.

The lamp presents in very good vintage condition, with the brass holding its shine and the stone column free of chips or cracks.
