Vintage Brass and Wood Table Lamp Base with Anchor Motif1950s
Delivered free · US duties paid · Insured
Look at the small brass fitting where the stem meets the base and it resolves into a shape: an anchor, cast in miniature and set as a decorative accent rather than hidden away. It's a small, specific detail rather than a generic flourish, and it's the kind of thing worth noticing on a lamp that otherwise keeps its ornament simple — a plain oval wood base, a straight brass stem, nothing else competing for attention.

The socket assembly at the top is fitted with a proper harp mount, the wire loop that holds a shade up and away from the bulb rather than letting it rest directly on the socket — standard on lamps built to be redressed with different shades over the years rather than sold as a fixed, one-shade object. The brass has a warm, consistent tone that reads as handled rather than recently polished, and the wood base carries its own even coloring underneath it.
The stem and fittings show the light wear expected of a lamp that's been in regular use rather than sitting in storage. Its plain oval base and straightforward stem make it an easy match for whatever shade you already have in mind, rather than a piece that dictates one particular look.
It arrives professionally packed and fully insured — we handle the paperwork and worldwide shipping, with your choice of plug fitted to your country at no extra charge. This listing is for the lamp base only; no shade is included. Returns are accepted within 30 days.
