Vintage Brass Horse Table Lamp, Wooden Base, Pleated Shade, Equestrian Style, 1980s

The trotting horse has long been a favorite subject for sculptural decor, valued for the sense of motion it brings to an otherwise static object. Cast in brass and mounted as a lamp base, this vintage table lamp gives that same form a second life as functional lighting.

The brass horse figure is caught mid-trot, standing on a rectangular dark wood plinth. A curved brass arm rises from just behind the figure to support the shade, topped with a pleated fabric shade and a pointed brass finial. An inline switch on the cord keeps operation simple.

The lamp presents in very good vintage condition overall. The brass horse figure is in excellent condition, and the wood base holds a warm, solid presence. The pleated shade shows some wear consistent with age, though the lamp remains fully functional throughout.
