Vintage Brass Palm Frond Table Lamp BaseUrn Form — Hollywood Regency Style, 1960s
Delivered free · US duties paid · Insured
By the 1960s, brass lamp bases had become one of the signature vehicles for Hollywood Regency style — glamorous, sculptural forms that borrowed freely from botanical and architectural motifs to turn a purely functional object into a room's focal point. The palm frond, in particular, echoed the kind of decorating associated with Maison Jansen's mid-century interiors: polished brass, confident scale, and just enough ornament to read as luxurious rather than fussy.

This lamp base, in that Hollywood Regency spirit and dating to the 1960s, rises tall and slender from an urn-form body, with brass palm fronds unfurling outward from the center. Note how the individual fronds are shaped with a slight natural curve and graduated width rather than a uniform stamped outline — the kind of sculptural variation that gives the piece real botanical presence rather than reading as a generic leaf motif. The urn below is finished with fluted detailing, sitting on a cylindrical foot.
Whoever kept this lamp on display before you kept it well. The brass shows light, honest wear consistent with age. It is ready to be paired with a statement shade of your own choosing, on a console, side table, or bedside setting.
It arrives professionally packed and fully insured, fitted with a cord and inline switch — we handle the paperwork and worldwide shipping, with the wall plug adapted to your country at no extra charge. Returns are accepted within 30 days.
