The circular tiered brass base carries a black disc inlay at its center, from which a brass-toned coiled spring rises as the central column, topped with a brass socket fitting. It's wired with a white cord, inline switch, and plug, genuinely ready to use rather than needing rewiring first.

The lamp base presents in very good vintage condition, with an attractive original patina and light wear consistent with its age. The structure is solid, and the electrical wiring, switch, and plug are all fully functional.
