There's a jewel-like intensity to this lamp that comes almost entirely from its glass, a tall, tear-shaped body in deep emerald green, blown with just enough asymmetry to catch light differently depending on where you stand. At the top, slender brass leaves fan outward around the socket like a small burst of foliage, their surface worn to a soft, aged patina that keeps the whole piece feeling genuinely vintage rather than polished for sale. Set on a round brass and matching green glass base, it has the kind of quiet, saturated color that anchors a room without shouting for attention, equally suited to a book-lined study or a console table beneath a favorite piece of art.
The body is hand-blown glass in a rich emerald tone, tapering from a narrow neck into a fuller, tear-drop lower half before meeting a small brass foot detailed with delicate scrollwork. At the top, cast brass leaves splay outward around the socket, their surface showing genuine aged patina rather than a fresh polish. The round base combines brass with a matching green glass disc, tying the color story together from top to bottom. The underside is marked "C.B." with a crown symbol and the number 1299, a genuine maker's stamp visible on the base.
