Figural lamps built around a single sculptural animal form were a signature of Hollywood Regency lighting, favoring bold, glossy shapes over understated columns. This vintage owl lamp, attributed to Loevsky & Loevsky and produced by the Belgian maker Deknudt, works squarely in that tradition.

A gold-toned metal owl stands upright, its face and feathers rendered in detailed relief, doing double duty as the lamp's entire base rather than sitting beside a plain column. It's topped with a black fabric shade edged in gold trim, keeping the palette restrained so the owl figure stays the focal point.
The lamp presents in very good vintage condition.
