A lamp's stem doesn't have to be one continuous material to read as a single, coherent form — this one proves the point by breaking its column into distinct sections: turned and fluted brass at the top and bottom, a smooth dark cylinder set between them. The transition points are clean rather than blended, so the eye registers three separate parts working together instead of one uniform shaft.
That dark central section does real visual work, anchoring the lamp's middle and keeping the brass from reading as one long, undifferentiated column. The round brass base below picks the metal back up, wide enough to give the piece genuine stability without needing extra visual weight. A pleated white fabric shade sits on top, keeping the light soft and even.
The brass has held an even tone throughout, with light signs of use consistent with age rather than heavy wear. At 47 cm tall and 25 cm wide, it suits a desk, nightstand, or console without dominating the surface.
It arrives professionally packed and fully insured — we handle the paperwork and worldwide shipping, with your choice of plug fitted to your country at no extra charge. Returns are accepted within 30 days.
