Some paintings tell you exactly what they're doing — this one writes it down. Along the lower edge, in the artist's own hand, are the words blanco, negro, verde, azul, rojo, marrón: a literal key to the palette at work, as if the canvas wanted to name its own materials before you'd finished looking at them.

The composition itself is a study in structure and restraint: broad, deliberate blocks of teal, blue, grey, orange and white, tied together by a single insistent red line that threads vertically through the entire piece, crossed by finer strands of black and gold. It's less a scene than a system — color and geometry working out a private logic, with just enough looseness in the brushwork to keep it feeling handmade rather than plotted.

Signed and titled "Cromatismo" by the artist M. Miota, Valencia, this piece sits in the tradition of European color-field and chromatic abstraction — painting concerned with the relationships between colors themselves rather than any scene or subject. Presented in a substantial gilt frame, it reads as confidently in a contemporary interior as it would in a room built around older, more traditional pieces — a striking contrast piece for a gallery wall or a statement above a console.

This painting presents in good condition, with the artist's original brushwork, texture, and signature intact.
