Brutalist Brass and Wood Sculpture Pair, Signed Ardisur — Spain, 1970s

This pair, signed Ardisur, Spain, 1970s, follows that brutalist formula in miniature: a brass sphere banded with a diagonal stripe of contrasting wood sits atop a slender brass stem, mounted on a square wood base. Note how the wood band cuts across the sphere at a consistent diagonal on both pieces, matching precisely from one to the other — the mark of a designed, matched pair rather than two similar objects assembled separately. Each piece is marked "ARDISUR S.L." on the underside of the base, confirming the maker.
